Advertising & Sales Pitches

My favorite digital advertisements to write for BARK are for exciting partnerships.

I’ve composed ad copy for BARK’s mashups with Marvel for a Spider-Man: No Way Home box, and with Rankin/Bass for a Rudolph box plus other gift-with-purchase items. Other fun new member promotion ads I wrote include a Halloween “Monster Gnash” bundle and “Chompkin Pie” gift-with-purchase.

This copy was used for everything digital from Facebook and Instagram ads to blurbs on the BarkBox.com homepage.

When pitching a new dog toy collection to retailers for purchase, it’s important to BARK that their collections tell a cohesive story through creative design and copy. A pitch deck is made by the sales team to include all the important businessy bits of the toy collection (product research, MSRPs, etc.) but the introduction page of the presentation is intentionally left blank for the copy team to sprinkle some storytelling magic.

That’s where I came in with these examples!

I ensure the collection name, a few toy names, and a call to action are always included as the informational base of my BARK pitches. Then I focus on developing a sense of place and evoking the heart-warming feeling one gets when spending time with their dog.

Below are some of my favorite sales pitches for collections I’ve had the privilege to bring to life!
